Hilarious (and encouraging from the publishers at IVP). The story:
G.R. Evans writes a wildly-lauded book on The Roots of the Reformation, Carl Trueman reads it and writes a 1-off blog post on many of the factual errors he notices, InterVarsity press responds graciously to Trueman’s review and decides to take the book out of print until they can revise it for re-publication in August, and Thabiti Anyabwile writes on how this makes Trueman the most powerful celebrity pastor in America.
Seriously. One post from a not so serious blog and IVP takes a book out of print. Ah, what times we live in (way to go IVP though).
